Guy W. Wallace has been in the performance improvement field since 1979 and has been an external consultant to government and industry since 1982. His clients since then have included more than 60 firms, with over 40 Fortune 500 firms; plus he has worked with NASA, NAVSEA, NAVAIR, the NSA, BP, Opel, and Siemen's Building Technologies. He has analyzed, designed, and developed improvement interventions, including job and organizational designs, recruiting and selection systems, training and development, pay-for-performance systems for a wide variety of industries and business functions and processes. He is the author/ co-author of 8 books, several chapters, and more than 90 published articles beginning in 1984. Since 1982 he has presented more than 90 times at international conferences and local chapters of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), plus he has spoken at Training Magazine's Lakewood Conferences, the Association for Behavior Analysis (ABA), and the Conference on Nuclear Training & Education. Guy W. Wallace served on the ISPI's executive committee as the treasurer for the 1999-2001 boards and as ISPI's president-elect and then president for 2002-2004. His professional biography was listed in Who's Who in America in 2001 and he was designated a Certified Performance Technologist in 2002. He received ISPI's highest honorary award, the Honorary Member for Life Award for his contributions to both the Society and to the technology of Human Performance Technology (HPT) in 2010. He was also recruited as an inaugural member of the American Society for Quality's (ASQ) Influential Voices campaign in 2010.
