With his endless anecdotes and tales, Herman draws the lines that led to the group’s ascension to the Mount Olympus of rock music, while his co-writer, Michael Krikorian, clearly lends his assistance to color them in providing more hues and tones than Crayola ever put in a box of crayons. Together they set a table and serve up a banquet of sarcasm and memories truly fit for a king! (The King of Monaco to be precise.) There are no sacred cherubs spared from the harpoon of a master yarn-spinner as the puns, innuendo and endless wordplay are meant to entertain and lampoon much of the history not only of an incredible band but also of a generation. Though having none of the calories but plenty of the guilt, the frankness and honesty expressed upon each sinfully delicious page will never spoil your appetite but only leave you yearning for more.

Herman Rarebell- Known and loved around the world as one of the original members of the greatest German rock band of all time, the Scorpions, as history shows, he was arguably the catalyst behind the band’s string of successful albums in the late 1970’s and 1980’s. Along with his duties as the drummer for the legendary group during their “heyday”, he also authored many of their biggest hits. AOR staples like “Rock You Like A Hurricane”, “Make It Real”, “Passion Rules the Game”, “Bad Boys Running Wild”, “Another Piece of Meat”, “Dynamite”, “He’s a Woman... She’s a Man” and “Blackout” to name but a few, all have a home on his résumé. Herman’s list of accomplishments beyond the band is also quite extensive. Upon departing in the mid-1990’s, he went on to head up Monaco Records, which he co-owned with his good friend, His Highness Prince Albert of Monaco. He is currently still active in music playing with a variety of artists in the studio and on the road as well as producing new material with his own band Herman Ze German and Friends. Michael Krikorian- Michael is best known as the head of the Rock and Roll Remembers Foundation (www.rockandrollremembers.org) that was founded to aid those within the rock and roll community who fall on hard times.
