Selbst's memoir shows how it is possible to overcome the obstacles that life puts in your path and explores how the people in your life make you who you are today, influencing you and helping you to become a better person-and better able and prepared to rise above any circumstance.

L'autore:
Adrianne G. Selbst earned a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master's in education in counseling and guidance from Temple University. After her retirement as a guidance counselor, she founded College Quest for gifted students applying to out-of-state universities. Adrianne is married and has two children and five grandchildren; she lives in Phoenix and spends time in Southern California.
