Gary B. Sanford is a retired high school English teacher and a Vietnam veteran. He grew up in Sacramento, California and in Grants Pass, Oregon. He has three daughters ages 37, 13, and 9. After teaching sojourns in Poland, Kuwait, China, and Saudi Arabia, he has made his home fifteen-minutes’ walk from where his two youngest daughters live in Szczytno, Poland.
