Boggs is a two-time winner of the Spur Award from Western Writers of America, most recently in 2006 for his novel CAMP FORD, and has also won the Western Heritage Wrangler Award from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum (for his novel SPARK ON THE PRAIRIE). He lives in New Mexico and is considered one of the top writers of frontier historical fiction today.
