The Dyaneshwari is the commentary on Bhagavad Gita written by Shri Sant Jñaneshwar during the 13th century at age 16. The Dyaneshwari provides the philosophical basis for the Bhagawata Dharma, a Bhakti sect which had a lasting effect on the history of Maharashtra.Several Marathi persons read this on a daily basis. This book is for a recital (parayan) to be typically completed in 3, 7, or 30 days. There are several Warkari’s who recite it fully in one single day. It is highly recommended to keep a copy at home and read at least few Slokha’s every day.
