‘MAROONED IN SPACE!’ Is Gary Pearson’s third novel. The first two, Slapshot of Love and Me and the Crack Mayor are available all over the world from Amazon in both Kindle and print editions. Gary Pearson co-created, co-wrote and co-show ran the hybrid sketch-sitcom- SUNNYSIDE with Dan Redican. He also ran THAT’S SO WEIRD, the award winning hit youth sketch comedy show. His other TV writing credits include CORNER GAS, THE RON JAMES SHOW, THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES, JUST FOR LAUGHS ALL ACCESS, and MAD TV. He is formerly of Toronto’s legendary SECOND CITY MAINSTAGE and is known for his early work with his comedy troupe THE CHUMPS. Gary has also appeared on camera in HISTORY BITES, THE KIDS IN THE HALL, THE NEWSROOM, THIS HOUR HAS 22 MINUTES and SUNNYSIDE. Gary has 6 Gemini nominations for writing and producing and 3 Canadian Comedy Award nominations and one win. He has 3 Writer’s Guild Screenwriting nominations and one win.
