About the Author:
Jim Dugan was a natural storyteller and humorist. He had a vast knowledge of history, nature, geography, and current events. This combination allowed many to call him a “jack of all trades, and a master of puns.” He was a big part of the Corning-Painted Post community, spending his career at Corning Community College, volunteering through the Corning Lions Club, and sharing his passion for craft beer while facilitating beer tastings at The Site. More importantly, Jim had an enormous love for his family. He was married to his wife, Charlotte, for over 46 years. When their two children were growing up, they were his constant companions in camping and hiking in the woods. He considered his grandchildren his greatest awards and loved to tell them stories. This book is his legacy to them.
