Rondalyn V. Whitney, PhD, OT/L, is a prolific writer, occupational therapist, and researcher. She views writing as the artistic expression for activists. Whitney is passionate about helping others view writing as a powerful tool with which to create meaningful change; express powerful or salient ideas; and incite, inspire, inflame, or quiet the spirit across both generational and social boundaries. Her research areas of interest include telehealth, family quality of life, emotional disclosure, maternal stress, and attachment. She has held professional leadership roles for more than 20 years and is considered a visionary, innovator, and content expert in social participation, autism, maternal health, and the therapeutic use of narrative.

Christina A. Davis, has been in scholarly, technical, and medical publishing since 1988, beginning in biological and chemical sciences before settling into psychology and health care. She is currently director of AOTA Press, which publishes the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, textbooks, assessments, Practice Guidelines, and exam preparation materials. Before arriving at AOTA in 2002, Davis managed the production and development of companion products to the 5th Edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Her life and publishing interests include animal rescue, elder care, historic preservation and home building, day trading, and classic British and American cars.
