Introduction

So I’m sitting in the café catching up on some reading when I spot him. It was Steve from the Tallahassee Baths, browsing through the shelves of bargain price shelves. He’s not alone. I watch them for several hot minutes. I could tell how they were standing, how Steve kept grazing the young twink with his hand, that they were an item. I hid behind shelves in hopes that Steve wouldn’t make me. The fine young thing he was with was smoking-hot with a blond buzz-cut. He looked very much unlike the collegiate kind of boys I was used to seeing him hook up with at the baths. I watched Steve and his militant boy-toy stroll damn-near hand in hand out of the bookstore into an area of the mall. I was sure that I would spot him later that night at the baths. I could only hope so anyway and perhaps Mr. Buzz-cut would tag along, the two of them with swinging dicks in tow.

I was nervous as hell the first time I went to the baths. It not only took guts but a huge set of low-hanging brass ones just to get up the courage to get in my car and drive there. I didn’t know if the thought of prancing around with nothing on but a towel between me and a bunch of horned up, horse hung strangers, was enough to rack my nerves or just set my loins ablaze. Swinging dicks under towels indeed. The baths were located on the ass-end of town. The anti-queer, anti-same-sex gender-loving powers that be were in an uproar at first and did everything in their conservative powers to stop a bathhouse from opening its doors when the owner wanted to locate the place smack-dab in the middle of town where college students frolicked. The local politicians and religious outfits made the usual speeches and preaches about gay men preying on children and eternal damnation propaganda, so instead of the owner allowing himself to be run out on a rail by the Jesus freaks, he packed up his (sex) toys and broke ground on the first bathhouse in the capitol city. I took one look at the place I thought, this isn’t going to last, but it’s been a year now, going on two and the “house of dick” some of the boys around like to call it, still stands tall much like Steve’s dick the night we hooked up.
So I walked inside with my gym bag and this young punk of a white boy with dreads was standing behind the counter. He asked to see my ID. I was all enough to be his…older brother, yeah, his older brother, but I took it as flattery instead of offense. I try to hold on to my twenty-something looks like a gold doubloon no matter how many gray hairs spike my chin.
I got a quick lesson in the rules and regulations and what not to do in the back before the young punkster sent me on my randy way. My dick was already twitching in my shorts at the sight of naked and half-naked men prancing about, ripping off with their eyes the little clothing that hit very little including the hard on that was raging under my shorts. I plopped down a twenty spot and grabbed an assortment of rubbers as if they were mints and made my way to where fun and action awaited me. “Enjoy yourself,” was all the boy had left to say to me. I gave him some semblance of a smile.
The pungent odor of poppers was like a pimp slap to my face. They looked at me like I was a stack of all-you-can-eat pancakes. I felt men zeroing in on my dick and on my ass as I walked to go change. Most of the men were middle-aged beauts while the rest were silver daddies dawning beer bellies and wedding ring fingers without the wedding rings. I changed in one of the locker rooms. I threw my bag with my wallet inside in a vacant locker. No one tickled my fancy until I came across Steve. I knew him from us cruising for college boys on one of the local campuses, so it was nice to see a familiar face. I cruised him while old men cruised me, fetishizing this black man with the freak-nasty looks they gave. I followed Steve to his room where I was invited inside. The men looked at us in hope that we would want some company but it wasn’t that kind of water and Steve shut the door in their sweat-soaked faces.
He didn’t waste any time and flung his towel off his ass and tossed it to the floor. Steve was the first of the cruisers to witness me naked. I felt him sizing me up. His moustache pricked my top lip as we made out, our dicks rubbing together like lovers.
