They include new proposals in acoustic and language models, based on Connectionist and Syntactic Pattern Recognition approaches. Applications in Computer Vision, Speech Recognition and Translation: this Section deals with digital TV, biomedical images, mammography, trabecular bone patterns and new calibration methods for large surface topography. These papers are a good summary of the Spanish research in the fields of Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis, as well as in their Applications.
