L'autore:

Sue Van Wassenhove is a former middle-school art and foreign-language teacher who has lived in Austria, Switzerland, and Russia. While she resided in Miami, Florida, she was inspired during her visits to the Everglades to quilt these illustrations and write the poems in this, her first book of poetry for young readers. She lives in Peoria, Illinois.
