David Varner is a retired corporate relations executive and journalist with broad-spectrum experience in business and agency arenas. Sunday Funnies to Tickle the Soul is his first published work. Varner is a recognized writer with a wide range of interests including technology, history and pro-life and family issues. He enjoys a well-earned reputation among his journalist peers for being both a knowledgeable and credible writer of news, features and business communications. Mr. Varner earned a BS degree in Food Science from Delaware Valley College in 1958. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Leo Guildea Council #7847. He was a former member of the National Society of Professional Journalists. He lives with his wife Joan in Palm Coast, Florida.
