L'autore:

A child star launched by a role as host of a popular children’s radio and television news program in Cuba, Wendy Guerra was inspired by her own diaries, written as a child during Cuba’s revolution. Published in eight languages, Everyone Leaves won the first Brugera Prize as well as the Premio Cabaret Del Caribe in 2009. Guerra lives and writes in Cuba, her home and primary source of inspiration.

Achy Obejas is the author of various books, including the award-winning novel Days of Awe and the best-selling poetry chapbook This Is What Happened in Our Other Life. She edited the critically acclaimed Havana Noir crime-fiction anthology and translated (into Spanish) Junot Diaz’s The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. She is a founding member of the Creative Writing Faculty at the University of Chicago, a member of the Editorial Board of In These Times, the editorial advisory board of the Great Books Foundation, and a blogger for WBEZ.org. She was born in Havana and continues to spend extended time there.
