Rich Weidman (Ocoee, FL) is a search engine optimization specialist and social media strategist, and is cofounder and editor of Alternative Reel, a pop culture website that receives 3.5 million unique visitors annually. He has coauthored and edited several regional travel guides, including The Insiders' Guide to North Carolina's Triangle and The Insiders' Guide to Charlotte, and has contributed to the Encyclopedia of North Carolina. He currently writes online travel destination guides.
