Bruce Parmenter spent twenty years in pastoral ministry, twelve years as director of a church-related counseling center, and twenty-six years in academia at Lincoln Christian Seminary (Pastoral Counseling) and Friends University (Marriage and Family Therapy). He is a retired approved supervisor in the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois.
