Descrizione libro Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - The Wisconsin railcar had been built in 1948 in the Milwaukee Railroad Shops as the railroad's president's car. To insure his safety, the car was armor plated and given bullet proof windows. During the 1950s, the car was leased to the Union Pacific. On its return to the Milwaukee, it was again used as the president's car. When the Soo Line took over the Milwaukee, the car became Soo 1000. In 1991, Soo put the car up for sale, and it was purchased by Dave and Dee Rushenberg of Railway Restoration. In November 2008, Wisconsin was sold to Alan and Sherri Conover who moved the car to Lancaster SC, where L&C Rail Car Restoration brought the car up to Amtrak standards and repainted her to her glory days when running on the Milwaukee Road. The car did its first outing in 2010 when it went to that year's AAPRCO Convention. Codice articolo 9781716859038
