Becky Ohlsen es escritora, editora y crítica independiente de Portland, Oregón. Para Lonely Planet escribe guías e historias de viajes sobre Escandinavia, Portland o cualquier otro destino. Creció en las montañas de Colorado, pero lleva viajando por Suecia desde niña, cuando iba a visitar a sus abuelos y otros parientes en Estocolmo y el norte del país.

Nativa de Chapel Hill, Carolina del Norte, Emily Matchar cogió su primera fiebre viajera durante un semestre de intercambio en Argentina.
