RAFAEL SCHACTER is an anthropologist and curator from London. He has written for a variety of publications and has lectured on the urban arts around the world. His doctoral thesis, Order and Ornamentation, is based on nearly two years fieldwork with some of the world s most prolific urban artists. He was co-curator of Tate Modern s Street Art exhibition in 2008.
