The Essential Buyer's Guide series, this time about the BMW Boxer Twins (except the GS models) from 1969 to 1994. Written by Peter Henshaw, is the well-illustrated cloth (size 14x19.5cm soft cover) especially practical: what are the strengths/weaknesses of the different models, how are the components provided, what do you need to keep in mind if you want to buy a Boxer, and so on. Certainly for those who are not yet familiar with the BMW Boxers, but have their eye on such a model, this 60-page book is very useful. At the back is a list of models, production period and frame/engine numbers (until 1984 were the same) so you can quickly see if the papers are (hopefully!) with the engine. --Het Motor Rijwiel

His small collection of beloved Harleys keeps him fully occupied in his spare time, as well as his keen interest in customization, and his many trips to the United States and the rest of the world has allowed him to amass a store of knowledge which has enabled him to co-write this wonderful book. He lives in Dorset, England.
