Journalist, songwriter, performer and professor Don Cusic is one of the foremost writers on country music. He is the author and editor of many books, including Eddy Arnold: I'll Hold You in My Heart, The Sound of Light: A History of Gospel and Christian Music, Willie Nelson: Lyrics 1957-1994, Merle Haggard: Poet of the Common Man and Hank Williams: The Complete Lyrics. He lives in Nashville.
