L'autore:

Sandra Ann Horn was a clinical psychologist until 1992, when she moved to England's Southampton University to set up and run the Master of Science program in Health Pscychology. She also spends her time writing for children and has had a number of books published, among them The Moon Thieves, The Dandelion Wish and Shadowhog. Sophie Fatus is a full-time illustrator and sculptress whose bright and distinctive illustrations have brought her numerous commissions and international critical acclaim. 'I take much inspiration from animals that I love, and I want to give homage to their very strong dignity through my work. I'd like my work to be a peaceful message of solidarity and support, that could help children remember to love and respect each other.' Sophie was born and educated in France and now lives in Florence, Italy.
