This bright, glossy hardcover book is likely to attract any newcomer to "The Art of Good Husbandry and Daily Care in Keeping these Lovely and Challenging Creatures". when they are browsing the shelves for information on the subject. Author Valarie Hitch clearly intends her book to be read before obtaining one or more goats and, with hindsight, many owners would have wished for such a goodie before aquiring theirs.
