L'autore:

Michael Jacobs studied art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art where he gained a doctorate in 1982. He was Senior Honorary Research Fellow in the Hispanic Department of the University of Glasgow. The author of numerous books on art, travel, and food; he was the first foreigner appointed as Knight of the Wooden Spoon, and represented Andalucia at international food and wine gatherings. His many books on Spain and Latin America gained him a reputation as the leading Hispanist of his generation.
