Nigel Macbeth has had a successful career as a teacher, beginning with seventeen hugely enjoyable years teaching in Stoke-on-Trent. He eventually became a Deputy Headteacher, but found that administrative duties took him away from the classroom so he applied for a post teaching children of the British Forces in Germany and spent the next thirteen years in Service Children's Education. He wrote many stories for children in the course of his teaching career and is in the process of completing a crime thriller.
