David Torkington is a Catholic journalist, author and speaker, who writes and lectures about prayer and Christian spirituality. He specialises in Mystical Theology and Franciscan spirituality. He had a regular column in The Catholic Herald for many years but is now a freelance journalist writing for many different newspapers and periodicals throughout the world. His publications include The Trilogy on Prayer, The Hermit, The Prophet and The Mystic which has been translated into over 10 languages. His other books include, Inner Life, A New Beginning, and Dear Susanna. His latest book How to Pray has been published world wide in ten different languages.
