Each article is lovingly crafted by the creme de la creme of sports writers. And there are some absolute gems tucked away including Rio Ferdinand describing one of his England team-mates as part of a 'Celebrity XI' (no prizes for guessing who) and great insights into the lives of the likes of Vinnie Jones and Sir Bobby Robson. But pride of place has to go to Neil Ashton's piece on Geoff Thomas, one of the most moving pieces of journalism it has been my pleasure to read. --Sportinglife
