Denzel the Orphan Duck is the story of a young duck, orphaned at very early age when the whole of his family are killed, who is adopted by a pair of coots and given a safe, loving home. From this haven he is able to explore the lake, and meet the other inhabitants, accompanied by his best friend Wally the Dartford Warbler. There are new friends to make, and interesting animals to meet. However, there are dangers on the lake. They learn at close quarters about 'the food chain'. Will they and their friendship survive into adulthood?
