Michael Dillon is currently Visiting Professor at Tsinghua University in Beijing. He was formerly Senior Lecturer in Modern Chinese History and Director of the Centre for Contemporary Chinese Studies at Durham University. He is the author of Contemporary China; An Introduction (2008).
