Sinossi
Hong Kong harbour at dusk, October 1982: Laurie Michaels, a 26-year-old journalist, has left her husband, her home and her job in Australia, for a new beginning as a business reporter in Asia.
When Adam Sarris offers her a job with Orion Management Systems, a fast growing computer company, she throws herself into a life played out in offices, hotel rooms and airports.
Laurie at first embraces the values of the boom. But, as Orion begins to play for higher and perhaps dubious stakes, Laurie is forced to confront what it means to be a woman in a man's world amid questions of ethics, loyalty and identity. The jetlag is more than physical.
