Martin J. Dougherty is a British author, he has written a large range of both fiction and non-fiction books. Phyllis G. Jestice is Assistant Professor of Medieval History at the University of Southern Mississippi and the author of Wayward Monks and the Religious Revolution of the Eleventh Century (1997). Rob S. Rice is a professor in classical antiquity, classic naval warfare and Ancient history at the University of Pennsylvania and The American Military University. Iain Dickie was editor of Miniature Wargames magazine for 25 years, and now spends his time writing and playing wargames. Kelly DeVries (born 1956) is an American historian specializing in the warfare of the Middle Ages. He is often featured as an expert commentator on television documentaries. As of 2012, he is professor of history at Loyola University Maryland.
