Tobe Richards has over thirty years experience of chord theory and playing various fretted musical instruments. He's also studied design for four years in the late seventies and early eighties, combining the two disciplines to produce comprehensive, yet easily accessible musical instruction guides for the last ten years. His books are currently being used all around the world by musicians as the popular go-to guides for fretted instruments Nancy has many years of experience of both teaching music and composition, with a particular interest in children's musical education. She believes learning should be a partnership between the child, the teacher and the parent. Quoting her directly: "learning should be fun, particularly when you're young. It's sad to see many potential musical careers cut short through tedious rigid practice sessions, particularly at a young age. Practice should be encouraged, but time limited or the child will quickly learn to see music as something to be endured and not enjoyed.
