Not only does Thompson provide reams of information and over 840 photographs (!!), he also tells the colorful history of the Southern Pacific and the enormous influence it had on the settling of California and the West. This copy is brand new and unread although two corners are bumped maybe 1/16" or so at the very tip and there are a few light scratches in the glossy surface of the dust jacket. We also have signed copies of Volumes I and II -- see separate listings. We will bubble-wrap this treasure and ship it in a sturdy box to ensure safe delivery. Signed by Author(s).
