Through the years, Paula has been writing rhymes to express her emotions and messages she loves to share. A Clearer Reflection came out years ago putting the pain and past behind her. She continued to write her rhyming messages to move on with peace and happiness, and she wants to share those messages with the world. She wants us all to get along, be content, and enjoy every moment.

Paula Groothuis is a speech therapist and rhyming author living on Long Island. She is the mother of two grown children who she could not be more proud of. She is now a proud grandmother as well. Through the years, Paula found that rhyming was a satisfying way to express herself. She has used it as a way to express her emotions in two adult books, messages for children's books, and for a business to write poems for birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, and any other special occasion to honor loved ones. She keeps herself busy exercising, singing, dancing, socializing, musical theater, and rhyming!
