Liza Elliott is a figure and portrait painter whose works can be found in private and corporate collections. She is the author of Finding Palestine, One American’s Trek from the Midwest to the Middle East, 30-A Supper Club, and 30-A Supper Club, The Cook Book. Her paintings and short works are published in the Birmingham Arts Journal. She teaches Refugee Health Care at the Sparkman Center for Global Health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is the arts editor at Red Camel Press.
