Fahrenheit 1600 is essentially a classic fall from grace and ultimate redemption story. Victor Kozol could be anyone's son, nephew or neighbor. By illegally cremating bodies for the New York crime syndicate, he solves his financial problems but at great personal risk. After almost losing his and his girlfriend’s lives, he finds redemption through the intervention of a much stronger willed person in Karen who will become his future wife. These suspenseful twists and turns feature romance, comedy, and tragedy all occurring in the Northeast Pennsylvania coal regions.

Recensione:
Excellent 1st book from up and coming author Jerry Weber. His main character Victor Kozol is a true gem and the author's of feel for life in the coal region of NE Pennsylvania is dead on. I highly recommend this book for a fun and entertaining read! A. Hottenstein Relentless action is just the icing on the cake in this fun, colorful and fast-paced thriller. The setting is unique and the author seems to know it like the back of his hand. Anyone who's from Northeast Pennsylvania will get a kick out of the authentic feel of this book. Jerry Weber really understands the area, the ethnic composition of the people, the natural beauty and the economic challenges. Within this colorful and realistic setting, the reader gets an insider's look into the life of a small town funeral director down to the nittiest, grittiest detail. The book's lovable anti-hero, Victor Kozol, starts out as a smart but lazy, cunning but reckless youth who embarks an intense road of discovery. He's a great character and it would be fun to read about him again! Pankow Punk
