Mitch Schultz twists one pastor’s nightmare into a compelling story of forgiveness and love—found in a most unlikely place. —The Reverend Doctor Dennis R. Maynard, Episkopols.com popular author of When Sheep Attack!

Mitch Schultz has written a disturbing story that raises some penetrating questions: If God intentionally allows bad things to happen to good people, why should he be trusted? And how is it possible that Christ’s incarnation, death, and resurrection can help us grapple successfully with the painful and distressing experiences of life? Schultz unwraps the answers to these inquiries in a way that compels the reader to respond personally to the Truth. —Rev. Peter Nanfelt, former president of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.

Where is God when senseless hate and tragedy combine to destroy all that a man has? Mitch Schultz’s novel causes the reader to ask difficult questions with uncomfortable answers. Can God’s love really suffice? Can he be trusted? Is there more to faith than the trappings of today’s typical church? Join Andre as he is led to a place where only God can save him. —Brian Mark Duggan, international leader, Latin America/Caribbean ReachGlobal

The Whisper cuts deep into the reality of church life and the pain of human suffering. Mitch Schultz challenges us to stop playing religious games and to begin bleeding for Jesus. —Elaine W. Miller, international speaker and best-selling author of We All Married Idiots

If you’ve been in ministry for any length of time, you’ve no doubt encountered personal pain and probably experienced severe hurt in your work with the Body of Christ. The Whisper points ministry leaders toward healing for the wounds often incurred in the service of our Lord. This book may be just the word you need to begin processing your hurts and find healing for the pain you know all too well. —Reverend Mark Barnard, president, Blessing Point Ministries, Mending the Tapestry of Church Life

Hold onto your seat for a ride that will bring you into an honest evaluation of what you truly believe and why! Mitch Schultz tells a story that is worthy of a deep look into your soul. This story will cause you to look for purpose but also help you see the value of the desert places with Almighty God. I will read this book again. —Robert D. Galasso, Alive In Christ Ministries, Inc. www.aliveinchristministries.net

L'autore:
Mitch A. Schultz grew up in the jungles of Indonesia where his parents worked as missionaries. He served nearly thirty years as a pastor and missionary in Europe and in the USA. Now he works with Fruitful Vine Ministry, offering counseling and support to hurting pastors and ministry leaders. He and Elaine have three children. Mitch and Elaine live in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina where Mitch enjoys biking and flying his two seat Cessna. Mitch’s other two books address issues of suffering and loss. “Fires of Sorrow” describes his journey through the flames while his wife Elaine fought to survive a brain tumor, and then the devastating inferno of brain cancer that ended his oldest son’s life. “Did I Say the Right Thing?” coaches Christians on how to speak to those who suffer grief and loss.
