Sergilla is one is one of the best preserved ancient villages in North Syria. It is an abandoned settlement located in the southern part of the Gebel Zawiye. Its limited size has made it possible for archaeologists/architects to investigate all of its component parts. This first volume in two parts and a potfolio, is dedicated to the study of the architectural remains, mostly houses but also artisans, workshops, tombs, and ecclesiastical complex, a hostel and baths.
