Huge heavy oversize 408 page hardback issued without dust jacket, presumed VOLUME 1 ONLY of an extremely scarce two volume set. 10 page introductory essay by Jean-Louis Prat; 354 pages of full color illustrations; 14 page illustrated essay by Bruno Bischofberger; detailed list of works illustrated. Dual language English/French text, but mostly full color illustrations. Book is in Near Fine- condition, with very light edge and corner wear, a cosmetically shaken text block, and a tiny nick out of the base of the spine. A clean and only lightly worn copy.
