L'autore
Owen Sheers, geboren 1974 in Fidschi, lebt nach einer Zeit in London heute wieder in Wales, wo er auch aufgewachsen ist. Sheers' Texte sind vielfach ausgezeichnet, sein Debütroman "Resistance" wurde in zehn Sprachen übersetzt und mit Michael Sheen in der Hauptrolle verfilmt. "I Saw a Man" ist sein zweiter Roman.
