L'autore:

Wendy Orr wurde 1953 in Kanada geboren und ist mit zahlreichen Haustieren an verschiedenen Orten irgendwo zwischen Nordamerika und Frankreich aufgewachsen. Sie machte eine Ausbildung zur Ergotherapeutin in London und zog nach ihrer Heirat nach Australien, wo sie heute als erfolgreiche Autorin von Kinder- und Jugendbüchern lebt. Ihre Werke sind in zahlreiche Sprachen übersetzt und vielfach ausgezeichnet worden.
