Tanja Handels
Tanja Handels, geboren 1971 in Aachen, lebt und arbeitet in München, übersetzt zeitgenössische britische und amerikanische Literatur, u.a. von Zadie Smith, Anna Quindlen, Erica Jong und William Finnegan, und ist auch als Dozentin für Literarisches Übersetzen tätig. 2019 wurde sie mit dem Heinrich Maria Ledig-Rowohlt-Preis ausgezeichnet.
David Ignatius, geboren 1950, ist preisgekrönter Kolumnist und MItherausgeber der «Washington Post». Außerdem schreibt er für «International Herald Tribune», «New York Times Magazine» und andere Periodika. Als Spezialist für die Themen Geheimdienste und Naher Osten ist er einer der renommiertesten politischen Journalisten der USA und einer der angesehensten Autoren von Politthrillern weltweit. Sein Roman «Der Mann, der niemals lebte» wurde von Ridley Scott mit Leonardo di Caprio und Russel Crowe in den Hauptrollen verfilmt. Ignatius lebt in Washington D.C.
