Andrea Rohloffs Welt ist in Ordnung: Sie lebt zusammen mit ihren Eltern, ihren Schwestern und dem kleinen Familienzoo in Berlin. Ihr großer Traum ist das Reisen. Deshalb zögert sie nicht lange, als ihre Freundin Nadine sie an ihrem 18. Geburtstag zu einem Urlaub in die Türkei einlädt. Andrea genießt ihre ersten Ferien ohne die Eltern, bis die Freundin plötzlich verfrüht abreist und sie nur mit einer Tasche zurücklässt. Mit dem letzten Geld, das Nadine ihr gelassen hat, fährt sie zum Flughafen. Dort wird sie am 21. Januar 2001 von der türkischen Polizei verhaftet: In der Tasche sind 6 Kilogramm Heroin versteckt. Fern von ihrer Familie und unter schrecklichen Bedingungen muss Andrea in einem türkischen Gefängnis auf ihren Prozess warten: Ihr drohen 30 Jahre Haft.

L'autore

"Andrea Rohloff, 1983 in Berlin geboren, begann nach der Schule eine Ausbildung zur kaufmännischen Assistentin. Im Mai 2001 verurteilte sie das türkische Staatssicherheitsgericht zu einer Haftstrafe von 6 Jahren und 3 Monaten. Im Juni 2002 wurde sie nach Berlin in die Justizvollzugsanstalt für Frauen überstellt. Seit September 2002 darf sie mit ihrer Ausbildung fortfahren."
