Die dem Apostel Paulus zugeschriebenen Briefe an die Kolosser, Epheser sowie der zweite Thessalonicherbrief sind erwiesenermassen unecht. Sie lehnen sich jedoch deutlich an den Sprachgebrauch der echten Paulusbriefe an und nehmen wiederholt auf deren Inhalt Bezug. Um die Jahrhundertwende als literarische Abhaengigkeit gedeutet, wird diesen Parallelen in der heutigen Forschung wenig Beachtung geschenkt. Auch fehlt eine synoptische Darstellung des gesamten Parallelenmaterials, wie sie etwa fuer die Evangelien selbstverstaendlich ist. Das Buch will hier Abhilfe schaffen, die Frage nach der Rezeption fruehchristlicher Schriften neu anregen und zu ihrer Klaerung beitragen. The Epistles to the Colossians and Ephesians and the Second Epistle to the Thessalonians, attributed to Paul, have been proven to be false. However, they clearly lean on the language used in the genuine Pauline Epistles and repeatedly make reference to their contents. Regarded as a literary dependence at the turn-of-the-century, these parallels are largely ignored in contemporary research. Likewise, there is no synoptic presentation of the parallel material as a whole, something that is taken for granted in the case of the Gospels. This volume is intended to provide some help in reawakening the question of the reception of early Christian writings and to contribute to their clarification.
