Constructed wetlands are dynamic ecosystems that generally have poor predictive capabilities. Therefore, the author developed a process based model for nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) removal in a novel configuration constructed wetland system to understand the wetland function and structure, testing hypothesis and making predictions.

Dr Lordwin Jeyakumar is a Associate Professor of Water/Environmental Engineering at Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Allahabad, India. He has obtained his PhD degree in Environmental Engineering at University College Dublin, Ireland. He has published several papers in peer reviewed journals.
