After a short general overview about the current situation of our consumer behaviour, the first part of the elaboration starts with the explanation of the process of globalization. Building on this, the second part focuses on the circle of goods and the throwaway society of the developed and newly industrializing countries. The third and last final part presents the book '2052 - A Global Forecast for the Next Forty Years'.
