Carl Baermanns Klarinettenschule op. 63 ist ein international bekanntes Standardwerk für den anspruchsvollen Klarinettenunterricht. Unsere dreisprachige Neuausgabe behält den Notentext und den Aufbau der Methode bei, korrigiert aber einige wenige Fehler und Unstimmigkeiten in der Artikulation. Die Schule wurde behutsam erweitert um gezielte Zusatzübungen (Atemübungen, Staccatoübungen) und praxisbezogene Erklärungen zur Spieltechnik und zum Gebrauch der Methode. Die altertümliche Sprache der Originalausgabe wurde modernisiert und an das heutige Sprachempfinden angepasst. Eingelegte Grifftasbellen für die Böhmklarinette und das deutsche System machen die Schule universellverwendbar. Beide Schulbände enthalten die Begleitungen zu den Vortragsstücken als Voll- und Halbplayback. Die Klavierbegleitungen zu den Vortragsstücken sind außerdem in zwei separaten Spielbüchern enthalten, die erstmals die Klavier- und Klarinettenstimme als Partitur abdrucken und eine eingelegte Klarinettenstimme anbieten

Die beiden Lehrbücher sind mit Audioaufnahmen ausgestattet, die vom Herausgeber live eingespielt wurden und zu allen Spielstücken eine klassische Hörversion sowie eine reine Klavierversion zum Mitspielen enthalten.Zur Revision:Der Notentext wurde inhaltlich nach Vorlage des Erstdrucks übernommen und nur wenige Unstimmigkeiten in der Artikulation sowie einzelne Druckfehler revidiert.
