Michael Dayton Hermann a obtenu son diplôme d'études supérieures au Hunter College où il a étudié la théorie de l'art auprès de l'artiste conceptuel Robert Morris. En plus de sa pratique artistique multidisciplinaire, Hermann est depuis 2005 directeur du département des licences à la Fondation Andy Warhol et a développé d'importants projets autour de la figure reconnue de Warhol, dont des collaborations avec Calvin Klein, Dior, Comme des Garçons, Supreme, Absolut et Perrier. Il a également travaillé étroitement avec TASCHEN sur la conception de deux publications, Andy Warhol : Polaroids 1958-1987 et Andy Warhol: Seven Illustrated Books 1952-1959. Reuel Golden est un ancien rédacteur en chef du British Journal of Photography. Pour TASCHEN, il a collaboré à l édition de différents titres, dont Capitol Records, Mick Rock: The Rise of David Bowie, New York et Londres de la collection «Portrait d une ville», ainsi que Andy Warhol. Polaroids, The Rolling Stones, Her Majesty, The Beautiful Game. Le football des années 1970 et les ouvrages autour du National Geographic.
