Maik Kopleck: Born in 1975, studied Communication Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf, was freelance Art Director with several advertising agencies in Düsseldorf and Berlin. Then freelance photographer in San Francisco; co-director of the design company STAAB/KOPLECK:DESIGN! in Düsseldorf, founded in 1996. Initiating his book series of historical city guidebooks with »PastFinder® Berlin 1933-1945« in 2004. He established the PastFinder-Publishing House two years later in 2006.
