Harold Cobert, 1974 in Bordeaux geboren, hat Literatur studiert. Nach einem Surfunfall im Alter von zwanzig Jahren begann er zu schreiben. Er ist Theater-, Film- und Fernsehautor und hat in Frankreich unter anderem eine Reihe Essays über Mirabeau veröffentlicht. Ein Winter mit Baudelaire ist sein erster Titel, der auf Deutsch erscheint.
